With regards to shapes and sizes, the most popular size gazebo sold on the market is the 10×12 gazebo. In addition to this it is the most common gazebo replacement size, which means that you can replace your vinyl cover or mosquito netting without very much hassle at all and will minimum cost.

Most of the gazebos will come in square and rectangle shape, while others are hexagonal and some are domed, the material that they are constructed with is usually strong metal frames with water and rust resistant vinyl.  This makes them extremely easy to clean.  Beware of the plastic frames, as they are often prone to breaking.  If you do decide to buy outdoor canopies with plastic frames, ensure that you get a full years warrenty on them.

A 10×12 gazebo is large enough to accommodate six people and a table for lunches.  The most common designs have easy zip up doors and when looking for an outdoor structure of this nature, you should also take into consideration how they are ventilated, as they can become very hot in the midday heat.
